Files and geometry data to attach
- 3D model in STEP or IGES (preferred). SolidWorks native is acceptable as secondary.
- 2D PDF with critical dimensions, GD&T, datums and surface callouts.
- Revision letter on both CAD and drawing; state which wins if they conflict.
- Assembly context if mating parts define stack-ups.
Material, heat treat and finish
Name the alloy or plastic grade, not only “aluminum.” Specify temper, hardness target after heat treat, and cosmetic vs functional surfaces.

Tolerance a rozsah kontroly
Označte pouze rozměry, na kterých skutečně záleží. Deka ±0,01 mm na každém okraji zvyšuje náklady bez zlepšení funkce. Stát CMM vs. měřič pro kritické vlastnosti, množství prvního výrobku a zda jsou požadovány certifikáty materiálu.

How factories turn your RFQ into a price
CNC estimators map stock size, number of setups, tool paths, and secondary finish vendors. Missing finish notes force them to assume the cheapest as-machined look—or the most expensive full cosmetic anodize—neither of which matches your intent. State quantity breaks (1 / 10 / 50 / 200) so setup amortization is transparent.
If parts nest from plate, mention grain direction or cosmetic face relative to mill marks. For turned-milled components, clarify bar stock diameter assumptions and whether partial lengths are acceptable. Export buyers should also note if individual poly bags, VCI paper or foam-in-place packaging is required; packing labor appears in the quote when specified early.
